This week I was in Los Cabos, Mexico and wanted to share with you all what I use to protect my hair from sun damage. I get asked all the time about my haircare routine… “How do I grow my hair? What products do I use to straighten it? What products do I use to curl it?” those are just a few of the questions. It goes without saying that I do a lot to maintain my bouncy locks, after all my hair does grow pretty quickly. But in order to maintain healthy bouncy locks you have to make sure you’re really protecting it from sun and heat damage as well as making sure you get regular trims in between cuts and colors. Some of the products that I have been using this summer and I used during my time in Cabo where the Aprés Soleil Créme by Frédéric Fekkai this is the prefect cream to hydrate dry thirsty hair, it restores shine and hydration without weighing your hair down and smells beautifully. It’s infused with sunflower seed oil and smoothes frizz and dryness. I used this créme as soon as I got out of the shower from a long day of lounging in the pool to insure that my hair stayed hydrated and sleek all day long.
Another favorite brand that I love using is Moroccanoil. One of my favorite products to use from the line is the Moroccanoil Frizz Control. The weather in Mexico can often be humid which causes my curly hair to frizz up I like to reach for this product and spray it to protect my strands. It keeps my hair smooth, calm, and manageable and is infused with argan oil and Vitamin E to help condition and nourish hair.
