Neutrogena hosted its annual Neutrogena Skin Summit event and invited bloggers from all over the country to their headquarters in Los Angeles. I was one of the lucky ladies who was able to be a part of the two day Neutrogena experience. The event began with a meet and greet lunch at the Neutrogena headquarters were I got to catch up with some of my blogger friends and met new lovely bloggers who also got to take part in this amazing experience. I also got a chance to meet Michelle Freyre who is the General Manager of Neutrogena. Michelle was super thrilled to have Hispanic bloggers like myself attend the event. I couldn’t have be more exited to be there as a representative of the Hispanic community. It means so much to me to be a voice as a Neutrogena Brand Ambassador and spreading my knowledge to my Hispanic Community. During lunch we learned about the history of Neutrogena and had a special session with Neutrogena Spokesperson Kristen Bell; where we learned about the importance of skincare, recycling, and much more! Skincare is so important for everyone to do, it can really change the way people feel and look, as well as giving your skin the love that it needs. That is why seeing dermatologists such as The Devonshire Clinic on a regular basis can help greatly in achieving better skin.
After the lunch, we were split into three groups and my group headed over to one of the lab rooms. Where we got to wear official Neutrogena lab coats and were educated by Dr. Janelle Vega the official Hispanic dermatologist for Neutrogena. During our session with Dr. Vega, we discussed the importance of skincare and how to take care of our skin. She gave us a breakdown of how our skin looks and she answered a lot of of questions about our skin. Like, how to get ride of manchas en la piel (dark spots on the skin). Dr. Vega recommended to use to a pore refining cleanser and toner with alpha hydroxy acid since this gently exfoliates the skin and lifts dirt and dead skin from the surface, following a good moisturizer with SPF. Like the Neutrogena Visibly Even Daily Moisturizer which contains soy: a natural skin brightener, it helps to visibly reduce blotchiness and discoloration which helps minimize the look of those pesky manchas!
Following the lab session we all boarded a tram and took it down to the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach. When we arrived to the hotel we where pampered with blow outs and got ready for the Neutrogena Soiree were we got to chat with the brand leaders and give them a little bit of our insight on which products are our favorite!
