Spring Makeup Trends: Peachy Keen

By Andriana @AndrianaO · On April 7, 2013

A natural glow is a popular look for any time of year but for springtime adding a pop of peach onto your eyes and pout is the way to go. When coming out of those dark winter months, it’s important to start the spring off with a bright makeup look that can make all the difference. To see some examples of some of the makeup tips that you might want to incorporate into your spring routine, you might want to have a read over these DIY makeover tips to see if they can enhance your makeup look and prepare you for the brighter days and improved weather. Often, most people do enjoy a more natural base for their spring makeup, so that might be something you want to incorporate into your makeup routine. Recently, the Jane Iredale pressed powder has been popular amongst people trying to perfect their spring makeup look. One of my friends has said that powder gives her a natural glow, whilst also smoothing out the skin to create a lovely base. There are so many exciting makeup products about, so it’s important to try some different ones every now and then. Sometimes, giving yourself a new look for the spring can be exciting. Keep yourself looking beautiful in the spring by reading some of these suggestions from an experienced makeup artist and incorporating them into your routine. After winter, you deserve some new makeup products and suggestions!

We’re lucky enough to have a Los Angeles based makeup artist Gina Alexandria to give us a break down on how to go neutral & feminine this spring. She mixed baby pink blush, and hint of bronzer onto the apples of the cheeks, then applied foundation and concealer on the cheekbones and lightly dusted powder over the face for a fresh matte finish. For eyes she used a light honey shadow into the crease of the lids blending it past the outer corners and along the lower lashline and finished it off with deep brown eyeliner and false eyelashes for a sultry and sexy look. See below for a list of products that Gina used to achieve this look. A few of you might be interested in looking at some of these products to add to your everyday makeup look, who doesn’t love new makeup?
